Designer Clear Security Gates :

The Designer Clear Security gates are the ideal security solution for libraries who need an aesthetically subtle security system that blends in with existing library architecture and interior design.  These gates are made from high clear acrylic, so they are visually low-profile, blending into the background. The Designer Clear Security Gates have corridor specific alarming where only panels of the affected aisle will light up when a secured item is passed through. The Designer Clear Security Gates can be installed with an aisle width between columns of up to 1.2m.  The distance of 1.2m provides the optimal read range in a 3-dimensional field.

Reports and software :

Items that have alarmed the gates will be displayed by title on the Dashboard screen. Only secured items will alarm the gates.

The Dashboard screen is web-based and can be accessed via any PC or via a mobile device. 

A bi-directional people counter provides statistics on patron traffic, and a range of reports by hour, day, week etc., are available via the Management Console.

Installation Options :

The Security Gates have a huge range of installation options available.

We can supply the gates in a single aisle (2 column) format or any additional columns up to 7.

The ‘Standard floor ramp’ is fully assembled, including integrated power and data cabling allowing for a streamlined installation process at your facility.

The ramps have a profile suitable for use with wheelchair and trolley access.

They have a carpeted finish, will withstand heavy foot and wheelchair traffic and also comply with the AS/NZS1428.2 access and mobility standard.

The gate columns can also be mounted directly on the floor with above-ground aluminium cable ramps, buried conduits or protected trenches. 

 • Excellent read range - the gates have a 3-dimensional read range, meaning tags can be identified in any orientation, providing a very high detection rate, along with the ability to detect multiple items at a time.

 • Alarm log reports and people counter statistics - The Management console will display by title, any items that alarm the gate, and these can be accessed as reports at any time. People counter statistics provide valuable reports on library patronage patterns.

 • Multiple installation options - available in any configuration up to 7 gate columns, the gates have a large range of installation options also, including underground cabling or above ground ramps.
